A Word About Lawn Service Contracts
Competitively speaking, we want to be the first to inform you that many lawn care companies are quite eager to rope you into a lawn care contract from the beginning!  We want you to know that you will never be “roped” into anything with our service, and strongly feel that the customer should always be in the driver’s seat!  We believe that this is in large what makes us different. Without a contract, we understand our need to continually prove the value of our services and if I may say so, we go overboard to do so.   On the other hand, if a contractual agreement is something that makes you feel more secure as our customer, then we are completely equipped to enter into a contract with you and will work hard to create desirable contract terms that you can feel extra good about.  This choice however is really left up to you as our customer and is a non-issue with our service. This is The Yard Butler way.

Landscape Contracts
Contracts are a hard and fast requirement on all hardscape projects for the benefit of everyone involved. A contract ensures that all facets of the project are understood and agreed upon by both parties from the beginning. All contracts are in keeping with what would legally be considered usual and customary to include project completion dates, payment information/due dates, deposit requirements, and liability clauses.

Change Orders
When a change in any landscape design plan is requested after a contract has been established, the Yard Butler requires the use of a change order in order to accommodate modifications of any sort.  The Change Order will identify adjustments in original cost estimates, fees, dates of completion, etc.  The signing of the order will then represent agreement to any change and serve to satisfy any addendum to the original contract.

Landscape Cleanup Policy
In performing landscape cleanups, it is the strict policy of the Yard Butler that our service crews only address acts of Mother Nature; not to be confused with acts of Human Nature!  Our services and service estimates do not cover large amounts of debris or trash left to collect in the landscape as a result of construction, abandonment, or overall neglect by the property owner.  Crews have been instructed to use reasonable judgement as it pertains to the cleanup of small amounts of trash that may be buried or distributed under leaves or other yard debris which would be considered a logical part of the job.

Customer acceptance of our cleanup policy will be assumed upon the approval of service estimate & scheduling of stated project.
